    TCTM - The Vietnam Elevator Association will organize a Seminar to discuss regulations on the recognition of conformity assessment under the amended and supplemented 2025 Law on Standards and Technical Regulations and the Draft Decree detailing a number of articles of the Law. The seminar will take place at 9:00 AM on January 15, 2026, in a hybrid format: in-person at the headquarters of the Vietnam Elevator Association and online.

    EM - On the morning of September 9, 2025, the Signing Ceremony for cooperation between the Vietnam Elevator Association and the Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute took place at the Institute's headquarters. The cooperation focuses on developing and building a system of standards for elevators, escalators, and passenger conveyors in Vietnam. A key objective for the 2025-2030 period is to concentrate on reviewing, evaluating, supplementing, developing, and completing the set of National Standards for elevators.

    TCTM – At 13:00 on 4 December 2025, the Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute, in collaboration with the Vietnam Elevator Association and Vinexad, will hold the International Seminar: Solicitation of Comments on the Draft National Standard for the Vietnam Elevator Industry, an accompanying event of the Vietnam Elevator Expo 2025.

    EM - In an effort to ease difficulties faced by businesses following the issuance of Circular No. 13/2024/TT-BLDTBXH, which revokes the acceptance of test results from foreign laboratories, the Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA) has submitted an official dispatch to the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Department of Employment, proposing the consideration and recognition of conformity assessment results, along with a compiled list of proposed internationally recognized certification/testing bodies.
