Attending the working session, on the side of the Vietnam Elevator Association were Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc, Chairman of the Vietnam Elevator Association, and Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien, Secretary-General of the Vietnam Elevator Association.
During the exchange, Mr. Valery Bahdanouski assessed Vietnam as a market with great potential and a traditional, reliable partner of Belarus. On that basis, he expressed his hope that both sides could promote substantive cooperative activities in the elevator industry, leveraging the complementary strengths of businesses from the two countries.

Introducing Belarus's capabilities, the Commercial Counselor of the Embassy of Belarus in Vietnam stated that elevator manufacturing is one of the key industries of this country. Among them, Mogilev Liftmash (MLM, established in 1966) is a typical state-owned enterprise, once holding a leading position in the elevator industry during the Soviet era and continuing to play a cornerstone role in the economy of Belarus.

On the side of the Vietnam Elevator Association, Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc stated that the Association always values expanding international cooperation to enhance the technological capacity, standards, and quality of the domestic elevator industry. On that basis, the Association is ready to coordinate with Belarusian partners to implement specific cooperative activities, particularly in the fields of research, training, and standardization.
In an open, constructive, and cooperative atmosphere, the two sides discussed cooperation directions for the coming time. Notably, the potential for collaboration between the Institute of Applied Elevator Engineering (under the Vietnam Elevator Association) and the Research and Development Institute of Mogilev Liftmash, together with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, in the areas of applied scientific research, standardization, and the development of the elevator industry.
Acting as a bridge, the representative of the Embassy of Belarus in Vietnam affirmed that it will continue to support and promote connections between agencies, organizations, and enterprises of the two countries, thereby contributing to realizing bilateral cooperation programs in a practical, effective, and sustainable manner.
