Speaking at the seminar, Vietnam was mentioned as a market attracting investment. The Senior Product Director of Inovance stated that the group has established offices, maintenance and training centers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City since 2024, while also expanding its local engineering team to enhance on-site support capabilities.
In the elevator sector, Inovance owns the Monarch control brand, with over 5 million controllers used in more than 80 countries.
Dennis Li - Senior Product Director for International Markets at Inovance Group
Mr. Dennis Li shared that one of Inovance's key focuses is developing solutions suitable for environmental conditions and electrical infrastructure. The company has upgraded hardware so that controllers can operate stably at temperatures up to 55°C, thereby increasing durability and extending equipment lifespan.
For areas with unstable power grids, Inovance introduced a design that allows elevators to operate at low voltage without needing a voltage stabilizer. This solution helps prevent sudden stops, reduces the risk of entrapment, and increases passenger safety.
In the safety technology group, Inovance presents two main solutions: Safety Torque Off (STO) and Safety Brake Control (SBC). According to the company, integrating these two technologies allows for the removal of contactors from the control cabinet, thereby reducing costs, lowering noise levels to below 45 dB, and enhancing system reliability.
"This is a trend we are focusing on developing to reduce reliance on mechanical components, while simultaneously raising safety standards in modern elevator design," said Mr. Dennis Li.
Regarding the door system – one of the components with a high failure rate – Inovance introduced the MCTC-SCB safety circuit board compliant with the EN 81-20/50 standard. This solution can detect door short circuits, prevent cabin movement when doors are not closed, and supports functions like re-leveling and door reopening, contributing to passenger safety when entering and exiting the cabin.
Alongside technological solutions, Inovance also introduced solution packages for each market segment. For the passenger elevator segment, the company provides integrated product systems and applies a 5-year warranty policy for product lines specifically designed for the Vietnamese market.
Meanwhile, the home elevator solution is designed with an integrated approach, including the controller, motor, UPS, and backup battery, simplifying the installation process. The system has a maximum load of 450 kg, a speed of 0.63 m/s, and low standby power consumption.
For high-rise buildings, Inovance introduced a high-speed elevator solution, capable of reaching up to approximately 13 m/s, accompanied by a destination control system to optimize traffic flow.
Notably, the presentation also addressed the development trends and perspectives of Inovance's smart elevators.
The Senior Product Director for International Markets at Inovance emphasized: "Future elevators will not only be transportation devices but will also have the ability to communicate with people, self-diagnose, and self-adjust. Current solutions can already self-assess operational quality, detect cabin incidents, monitor door status and equipment in the elevator shaft, thereby reducing human intervention and enhancing operational efficiency."
At the event, Mr. Dennis Li also noted that although a relatively young company founded in 2003, Inovance has achieved impressive growth in just under 20 years. Inovance is now present in over 100 countries and territories. The company currently has a workforce of over 26,000 employees and achieves annual revenue exceeding the $5 billion mark.
Inovance's operations span four main areas: industrial automation, smart elevators, new energy vehicles, and rail transportation. The company builds a comprehensive product ecosystem, including inverters, controllers, sensors, and integrated solutions for various industries.
Specifically in 2025, Inovance shipped over 12 million inverter units. To ensure quality, the company has established an international quality management system covering all stages from research and production to the supply chain.
