The 105th Escalator and Escalator Information Seminar is about to take place in Singapore

EM – On October 6, the 105th Information Conference organized by the Pacific Asia Lift and Escalator Association (PALEA) will take place in Singapore. This is an annual event with the participation of many manufacturers, companies, associations ... in the field of elevators, escalators and auxiliary. Leaders of Elevator Magazine - Vietnam Elevator Association will attend and contribute at this forum.

After 3 years of the COVID epidemic, the Information Conference will be held live again. The 104th Conference was held in 2019 in Jakarta, Indonesia with the participation of 63 members, associations, government agencies.

The current members of the association come from many Asia Pacific countries: Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam and Indonesia. PALEA membership includes elevator companies, component manufacturers, elevator associations and even national regulatory bodies.

PALEA's 103rd Information Seminar took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

PALEA regularly organizes informational seminars in Asia Pacific countries to inform interested members and industry representatives about the latest trends in regional and international codes, standards and regulations.

These occasions serve as a forum for two-way communication, providing the opportunity for PALEA to obtain the latest information and opinions from the industry across the country to ensure that PALEA stays abreast of latest trends and needs in the whole region.

PALEA was registered in Singapore in February 1998 and held its inaugural meeting in July 1998. The association was established to serve the needs of the elevator and escalator industry in the Asia Pacific region and covering twenty-four Asia Pacific countries.

PALEA is also an 'A' member of ISO and is represented in several working groups affiliated with ISO Technical Committee/TC178.l
