Police use hydraulic spreader to rescue 6 people trapped in elevator

According to initial information, at 8:16 AM on the same day, the 114 Command Center received an urgent report about an elevator incident at house number 51 Truong Son, Hoa Hung ward (former District 10).

At the time of the incident, the family was urgently preparing for the bride-welcoming ceremony when the elevator suddenly malfunctioned and got stuck on the ground floor. Six people were trapped inside the cabin, causing panic as the ceremony time was approaching.

Immediately after receiving the report, 7 officers and firefighters from the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Team of Area 10 quickly arrived at the scene and deployed rescue measures. The functional forces used a hydraulic spreader to access and open the elevator door.

By approximately 8:23 AM, all six trapped individuals were safely brought out. After being rescued, their health and spirits stabilized.

The timely intervention by the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police force helped the family continue with the bride-welcoming ceremony as planned, without interrupting the important ritual.
