In early 2025, the Vietnam Elevator Association organized two meetings to gather business opinions and clarify questions regarding Circular 13/2024/TT-BLĐTBXH, which abolishes Article 6 of Circular 26/2018/TT-BLĐTBXH – the regulation allowing the recognition and use of test results from foreign testing laboratories.

2025 is a significant year, marking the 5th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Elevator Association. Based on the achievements of its first term (2020 - 2025), the Vietnam Elevator Association successfully organized the 2nd Term Congress (2025 - 2030).

Also at the 2nd Congress of the Vietnam Elevator Association for the 2025-2030 term, the Association was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Home Affairs for outstanding achievements and positive contributions in the field of elevators and escalators, contributing to the country's socio-economic development.

In December 2025, the Vietnam Institute of Standards and Quality coordinated with the Vietnam Elevator Association and Vinexad to organize the International Seminar: Gathering Feedback on the Draft National Standards for Vietnam's Elevator Industry. Accordingly, the Draft TCVN for Elevators – General Requirements for Operation, Maintenance, Repair, and Use will be finalized and issued in 2026.

In addition to the participation of state management agencies and international organizations, the seminar attracted over 100 delegates from the Vietnamese elevator business community - including members of the Vietnam Elevator Association along with many production, import, installation, maintenance units, and other FDI enterprises operating in the domestic market.

Recently, the Vietnam Elevator Association also organized a Seminar to Discuss the Recognition of Conformity Assessment Results under the Amended and Supplemented Law on Standards and Technical Regulations 2025, with the participation of leaders from the Employment Department (Ministry of Home Affairs), the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, and the Vietnam Institute of Standards and Quality, aiming to resolve and clarify businesses' questions related to new regulations.

Activities between the Vietnam Elevator Association and its members are continuously strengthened. Recently, Otis Elevator Vietnam Company Limited also coordinated with the Vietnam Elevator Association to organize a tour of the elevator system at the Bitexco Financial Tower (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City) for a delegation of experts and leaders from Korea, including representatives from the Korean Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Korea Elevator Safety Agency (KoELSA), and the Korea Elevator Association.

In addition to professional seminars and discussions, the Vietnam Elevator Association also organizes the International Elevator Exhibition - Vietnam Elevator Expo, becoming a hub for exchange, connection, and joint development between the Vietnamese elevator community and the regional and international elevator communities.

Vietnam Elevator Expo 2025, organized by the Vietnam Elevator Association in coordination with Vinexad (Ministry of Industry and Trade), left strong impressions: a vibrant business space, seminars with deep professional content, the strong presence of the international community, and new steps in elevator industry cooperation.

At the 5th exhibition – Vietnam Elevator Expo 2026 – which will be held simultaneously for the first time in the two largest socio-economic centers of the country, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, it promises to become a major festival for the Vietnamese elevator industry community.
