Officially opens the WEE Expo 2026

The WEE Expo 2026 is organized on a scale of 120,000 m², with over 1,100 enterprises participating in the exhibition, expected to attract 100,000 industry professionals. This is one of the world's major exhibitions for the elevator and escalator industry, and also a space connecting technology, standards, products, and the global supply chain.

The opening ceremony and specialized seminars of WEE Expo 2026 were attended by a delegation from the Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA), including Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc – President of the Vietnam Elevator Association and Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien – General Secretary of the Vietnam Elevator Association.

The event also saw the participation of many international agencies, organizations, and associations in the elevator and escalator field, including the European Committee for Standardization - CEN; the European Lift Association; the European Federation of Small and Medium-Sized Elevator Enterprises (EFESME); the Asia-Pacific Elevator and Escalator Association; the VFA-Interlift  (Germany), along with the Korea Elevator Safety Agency and the Korea Lift Association…

At the specialized seminar of WEE Expo 2026, Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien – General Secretary of the Vietnam Elevator Association gave a presentation on the overview of the Vietnamese elevator market, the legal regulatory system for elevators, as well as the outstanding activities of the Vietnamese elevator industry in recent times.

He also mentioned the Association's efforts in promoting technical training, raising awareness about elevator safety, strengthening connections between domestic enterprises and international partners, exchanging experiences on standards and regulations, and gradually building a foundation for the professional and sustainable development of the Vietnamese elevator industry.

This year's exhibition covers nearly the entire ecosystem of the elevator and escalator industry, from complete equipment to components, control systems, safety devices, electrical and mechanical solutions, monitoring technology, and IoT platforms for elevator operation.

The exhibition catalog of WEE Expo 2026 also shows an expansion into digitalization solutions, remote monitoring, automatic alerts, and intelligent control systems.

WEE Expo 2026 features the participation of many prominent international enterprises and brands in the elevator and auxiliary industry fields such as Otis, Hitachi, Hyundai, Mayr, Montanari, Wittur… In addition, the exhibition also gathers a large number of Chinese elevator and component enterprises such as NBSL, Inovance, Joylive, Franz Home Lift, CANNY, STEP…

WEE Expo 2026 is currently ongoing in Guangzhou until May 23, 2026. With its large scale and the participation of numerous international enterprises and organizations, WEE Expo 2026 is not only a trade exhibition but also an important forum reflecting the development trends of the global elevator industry.
