Upon receiving the report, PC07 mobilized the Firefighting and Rescue Team for Region 5, including one specialized vehicle and 6 officers and soldiers, to quickly arrive at the scene.

At the scene, authorities identified the victim as P.T.M. (born 2006), who was trapped inside the elevator cabin between the 3rd and 4th floors of the house.

At the time, the young man was in a state of panic. Police quickly calmed him down while deploying forces and specialized equipment to open the elevator door. By 2:37 a.m., police brought M. out safely.

The police authority advises that when people encounter an elevator entrapment incident, they should remain calm and not attempt to pry open or force the cabin door by themselves.

People should use the emergency alarm button, contact the elevator management unit, or call the authorities for assistance, avoiding trying to escape on their own, which could lead to danger.
