1. General Information:
- Position: Field Reporter
- Income: 12,000,000 – 15,000,000 VND (Including base salary and royalties)
- Working Hours: Office hours from Monday to Friday, alternating Saturdays.
2. Job Objectives:
Proactively stay close to fieldwork locations, listen to and capture voices and market needs; produce investigative articles in an objective, humane, and constructive manner, contributing to the protection of consumer rights, promoting positive values of the industry, and serving as a basis for policy advisory and communication orientation.
3. Job Description:
- Conduct field operations, surveys, and information gathering; produce in-depth articles and investigative reports on elevators, technology, and related fields; analyze architectural trends, infrastructure solutions, modern utilities, and issues affecting daily life, living spaces, and industry development.
- Build and develop a network of sources; proactively connect and maintain professional relationships with organizations, businesses, experts, and relevant parties in the elevator, construction, and infrastructure sectors.
- Proactively capture information and promptly be present on-site when notable incidents or issues related to elevators and construction safety arise; ensure information is verified, objective, accurate, and responsible.
4. Position Requirements:
a. Professional Expertise and Knowledge:
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in the following majors: Journalism, Communications, Law, Architecture, Construction, or Economics. Solid understanding of the Press Law, professional ethics, and relevant legal regulations on media and information.
- Knowledge of architecture, construction, and economics.
- Preferred: Ability to read and understand basic architectural drawings, technical documents, and elevator safety regulations/standards (QCVN/TCVN).
b. Experience:
- Minimum 2-3 years as a field reporter at newspapers/magazines in the fields of economics, construction, architecture, real estate, law, or social affairs.
- Hands-on field experience.
- Ability to manage a network of collaborators.
c. Qualities and Skills:
- Courage and Sharpness: Dynamic, not afraid of challenges, ready for fieldwork.
- Professional Skills: In-depth interviewing, field observation/recording, photography and videography.
Critical Thinking and Legal Acumen: Solid understanding of the Press Law. Logical thinking, meticulous in verifying information.
