Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of Vietnam Construction Consulting Corporation

The ceremony was honored to welcome Former Member of the Party Central Committee and Former Minister of Construction Nguyen Hong Quan; Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha; Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Dao Cuong; former Deputy Ministers of Construction along with representatives from Central Ministries, Departments, and Agencies; leaders of the State Capital Investment Corporation (SCIC), and many generations of VNCC officials, architects, and engineers.

The event was also attended by representatives of professional associations and businesses such as the Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations, the Vietnam Association of Architects, the Vietnam Elevator Association, the Vietnam Interiors Association; representatives of major corporations such as Vingroup, Sungroup, Bitexco, T&T Group, and numerous other investors, partners, and clients.

Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Minister of Construction Pham Minh Ha acknowledged and commended VNCC's tremendous contributions over the past 70 years, successfully executing numerous key national projects of political significance, large scale, and technical complexity nationwide, contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization.

“In addition to consulting on planning, design, and project verification, VNCC has been a companion to the Ministry of Construction in formulating legal normative documents, drafting technical standards and regulations, and conducting numerous ministry-level scientific research projects that have been accepted and applied in practice,” Deputy Minister Pham Minh Ha stated, expressing confidence that VNCC would continue to uphold its traditions, creativity, and responsibility to maintain its pioneering position.

From the Design Department under the Architecture Directorate in 1955 to the Vietnam National Construction Consultants Corporation - JSC today, VNCC has continuously grown, affirming its comprehensive capacity in the fields of planning, architecture, design, supervision, and project management, with a footprint stretching across the country.

At the Anniversary Ceremony, VNCC General Director, Architect Tran Duc Toan also shared that over 70 years, VNCC is proud to have contributed to the creation of thousands of the country's projects—from key national projects, civil works, healthcare, and education facilities, to airports, industrial plants, and projects with specific technological requirements—demonstrating the intellect, courage, and dedication of generations of Vietnamese architects and engineers.

These are not only projects of economic and political significance but also contribute to improving the quality of life for the people and accompanying the country's development through each historical period.

In his closing remarks, VNCC Chairman of the Board of Directors Than Hong Linh emphasized that the 70-year journey is a source of pride for many generations of VNCC. The VNCC collective is aware that the road ahead holds many obstacles and challenges, but also opens up new opportunities. VNCC commits to continuing innovation, enhancing service quality, and developing sustainably to be worthy of the trust of leadership levels, partners, and the entire society.

The ceremony concluded in a solemn, warm, and emotional atmosphere—where VNCC generations reviewed traditions, expressed gratitude, and passed on the flame of passion, affirming the stature of Vietnam's leading architectural and construction consulting brand.

Originating as the Design Department under the Architecture Directorate (Ministry of Public Transport and Works) established under Prime Minister's Decision No. 506/TTg in 1955, over 70 years, VNCC has become a leading brand in the Vietnamese construction consulting market. Through the ups and downs of history, VNCC's team of officials, architects, and engineers has participated in construction consulting for numerous important projects, contributing to Vietnamese architecture during the renovation period.

Notable examples include the National Assembly House, the National Convention Center, the Ministry of Public Security Headquarters, the Government Guest House, the Hanoi Museum, the Bitexco Financial Tower, the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Hospital, Noi Bai Airport, Long Thanh Airport, along with many universities, hospitals, and large urban areas.

VNCC has been honored by the Party, State, and Government with many noble awards, including: twice awarded the First-Class Labor Order (1985, 1990); twice awarded the First-Class Independence Order (2009, 2016), along with many Orders, Emulation Flags, and Certificates of Merit. Besides collective awards, many generations of VNCC officials, engineers, and architects have also been honored by the State, Government, and organizations with Certificates of Merit, National Architecture Awards, and numerous other accolades.
