Ziehl-Abegg records revenue exceeding 1 billion Euros for the first time

TCTM - Ziehl-Abegg (Germany) – one of the global technology corporations in the fields of control, electric motors, and ventilation systems – has just announced its business performance results and notable technological advancements in 2025.

According to the company, 2025 marks the first time in Ziehl-Abegg's 116-year history that its revenue has surpassed the 1 billion Euro milestone (equivalent to 1.9 billion USD, approximately 50,000 billion VND at an exchange rate of 26,250 VND/USD).

Simultaneously, Ziehl-Abegg announced the successful development of a synchronous elevator motor that does not use rare-earth magnets, becoming the first company in the world to achieve this advancement.

CEO Joachim Ley shared that Ziehl-Abegg's record revenue was achieved amidst challenges from currency fluctuations, tariff barriers, and geopolitical instability factors. He also noted that the company's growth last year primarily came from the US and Chinese markets.

In the US, Ziehl-Abegg invested in building a 100 million Euro (119 million USD) factory in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, which commenced operations in 2024, contributing to the expansion of its production capacity and presence in the North American market.

Regarding the elevator sector, Ziehl-Abegg stated that its rare-earth-magnet-free elevator motor continues to affirm and maintain operational performance equivalent to previous generations, with completely identical installation dimensions.

According to Mr. Joachim Ley, this design enhances technological independence and ensures long-term production stability, given that the rare-earth material supply chain can be affected by external factors or export restrictions.
