1. Dragon Cloud Glass Bridge's mountain-climbing elevator suspended from operation

Dragon Cloud Glass Bridge Tourist Area has announced a temporary suspension of visitor reception starting from October 1, 2026, due to construction activities at an adjacent project affecting visitor safety. The reopening date has not yet been announced.

The tourist area, invested in by Hoang Lien Son Group Joint Stock Company, broke ground in 2017 and was inaugurated in November 2019, forming part of a tourism complex with total investment capital of approximately VND 3,500 billion. The project includes items such as a hotel, elevator and glass bridge, bungalow resort area, climate-controlled swimming pool, and other entertainment and recreational facilities.

A highlight of the project is the outdoor elevator and glass bridge complex, which was put into operation on November 16, 2019. According to information from the investor, this complex alone has total capital of more than VND 1,000 billion.

The elevator system is approximately 300 m tall, running from the foot of the mountain up to the glass bridge area at an altitude of about 2,200 m above sea level and 548 m above the bottom of the mountain gorge in the Hoang Lien Son range.

The cabin is designed with three transparent glass sides, allowing visitors to observe the landscape during the journey. From here, one can look out at O Quy Ho Pass and the mountainous forests of Hoang Lien Son.

2. US: Advertising screens in elevators provoke mixed reactions

The installation of advertising screens in elevator cabins is sparking debate on Reddit.

Some users argue that advertisements appearing in an enclosed space create a feeling of being forced to watch, reducing goodwill and making them not want to buy the products being promoted.

Other opinions do not oppose this format. Social media reactions are not a survey representative of all users, but they raise a question for building management: short-term advertising revenue may come with impacts on passenger experience and brand image if the content, sound, or display frequency is inappropriate.
