Elevator Industry: Seminar on the Recognition of Conformity Assessment under the Amended 2025 Law on Standards & Technical Regulations

The seminar is organized to clarify regulations on the recognition of conformity assessment results by foreign assessment organizations under the amended and supplemented 2025 Law on Standards and Technical Regulations and the Draft Decree detailing several articles of the Law; simultaneously addressing and resolving difficulties and obstacles that elevator enterprises are encountering during implementation.

The seminar is expected to be attended by representatives from state management agencies and specialized units, including the National Committee for Standards, Metrology and Quality, and the Employment Agency under the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Furthermore, the seminar will see the participation of the Leadership Board of the Vietnam Elevator Association, representatives from domestic inspection organizations, and businesses operating in the elevator sector.

The seminar focuses on discussing two main topics:

- First, providing information on legal regulations and directly answering enterprises' questions.

The seminar will provide a detailed analysis of regulations on recognizing conformity assessment results according to the amended and supplemented 2025 Law on Standards and Technical Regulations and the Draft Decree detailing several articles of the Law, clarifying new points, scope of application, and impacts on testing and conformity certification activities in the elevator field.

Simultaneously, representatives from the management agency will directly answer enterprises' questions related to the application of the new legal regulations.

- Second, sharing practical implementation experiences, enterprises' difficulties, and proposing solutions to resolve obstacles.

The seminar serves as a forum for enterprises and management agencies to exchange views, assess the current situation, and identify shortcomings in implementing elevator conformity certification activities in Vietnam. Based on the received opinions and recommendations, the seminar will propose solutions to promptly resolve difficulties, creating favorable conditions for the production and business activities of elevator enterprises.

The seminar is seen as an opportunity for enterprises to engage in direct dialogue with the management agency, promptly reflect on obstacles, and access official information during the implementation of the amended and supplemented 2025 Law on Standards and Technical Regulations.
