EM - On the morning of October 5, PALEA/VNEA Lift and Escalator Seminar – The Lift Codes and Safety took place at the Sheraton Hotel (Hanoi, Vietnam). The seminar had many impressive presentations related to elevator safety issues. Let’s take a look back at the outstanding images at the Conference.
EM - Just within last month, 6 elevator malfunctions have attracted public attention in Noida and Greater Noida (India). Residents are sinking in fear due to the news of increasingly frequent elevator accidents.
EM – the Pacific Asia Lift and Escalator Association is coordinating with the Vietnam Elevator Association in organizing the first International Elevator Seminar in Vietnam, with the participation of many brands belonging to the elevator industry and its supporting industry from across the globe.
EM - After an occupational accident on April 17th in Vinh Phuc, Viet lost consciousness he had fallen into an elevator shaft from the 5th floor, leading to multiple life threatening injuries: traumatic brain injury, broken bones, ribs, jaw fractures, kidney damage and pleural effusion.
TCTM – Even if something has been done 1000 times without issues, it is never certain whether there will be a problem on the 1001st time. This is also true for elevators, everything seemed to be operating normally... until an accident happened.
EM - The incident happened on the afternoon of May 15th, when P.H apartment building (Vo Thi Sau street, Nha Trang city) used electrical generators to power the lighting systems and elevators. However, the generator suddenly caught on fire, causing the the elevator system to stop working, which consequently causedmany people to get trapped in the elevator.
