EM – On January 16, 2023, at the headquarters of the Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA), a new member admission ceremony took place for Wittur Pte. Ltd Singapore (Wittur) and MEKAMIC Industrial Equipment and Construction Joint Stock Company (MEKAMIC).
Speaking at the admission ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Hai Duc, President of VNEA introduced the beginning process of VNEA and its affiliates, namely the Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application (VILEA) and Vietnam Elevator Magazine (EV). Accordingly, on September 8, 2020, VNEA was officially launched, according to Decision 594/QD-BNV dated August 20, 2020 of the Minister of Home Affairs.

VNEA is a socio-professional organization of citizens and businesses operating in the field of research, production and trading of elevators and escalators and the fields related to elevators and escalators in accordance with the law. On November 19, 2021, VNEA held a ceremony to launch a news agency including the publication and website of Elevator Magazine (EV). Then, on December 14, 2021, Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application was officially established, under VNEA licensed by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application operates with the main functions including Research and development of science and technology; Research and develop standards and labor training in Vietnam’s elevator industry.
