EM – Compliance with the Law on Occupational Safety and Health is to ensure the working environment for both employees and businesses, avoid loss of health and life, and fulfill legal responsibilities. With the elevator industry - a field with specific occupational safety, businesses need to pay attention to ensure the full implementation of responsibilities and obligations, employees actively claim their legitimate rights. This is also avoiding risks for both employees and businesses.
EM – Regarding fire protection regulations for houses and buildings, fireproof elevator doors are an important part of the building's fire protection system.
EM – Those are the words of apartment resident about the status of elevators in resettlement housing areas and some old commercial apartment buildings in Hanoi. Repairing elevators that are 10 years old or older faces many difficulties due to the lack of synchronous equipment components. As for the replacement of the elevator, there are no specific regulations on the replacement time and it is difficult to raise funds.
EM – In fact, the number of accidents related to elevators directly suffered by workers or users is not small. It’s time we reconsider putting the elevator industry in the list of conditional businesses.
EM – The second Vietnam – European Union (EU) Joint Forum on Trade and Sustainable Development took place on October 20 in Hanoi.
