EM- As part of the PALEA/VNEA Lift and Escalator Seminar, the speakers made many presentations and in-depth research related to elevator safety codes and standards, and urgent issues such as old elevator risks, maintenance and modernization of elevator systems.
EM – The PALEA/VNEA Lift and Escalator Seminar held on 5 October 2023 is assessed as a good opportunity for Viet Nam and other countries in the region to absorb international experience in building elevator safety standards and codes, gradually improve the system of regulations and standards.
EM - After an occupational accident on April 17th in Vinh Phuc, Viet lost consciousness he had fallen into an elevator shaft from the 5th floor, leading to multiple life threatening injuries: traumatic brain injury, broken bones, ribs, jaw fractures, kidney damage and pleural effusion.
EM - The incident happened on the afternoon of May 15th, when P.H apartment building (Vo Thi Sau street, Nha Trang city) used electrical generators to power the lighting systems and elevators. However, the generator suddenly caught on fire, causing the the elevator system to stop working, which consequently causedmany people to get trapped in the elevator.
EM - On the morning of April 13th, in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa province, the Vietnam Journalists Association held a national conference summarizing activities in 2022 and implementing the association's work in 2023. Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Tran Hong Ha attended and delivered a commanding speech.
EM - "Princess goes to the supermarket" is a prominent photo and video shooting trend that youngsters "catch" on social networks over the past time. However, this trend of costumes is dangerous in the supermarket environment - where people mainly travel by escalators and elevators due to elaborated, detailed costumes.
