EM – One of the solutions requested by the Prime Minister is to drastically change the policies and methods of vocational education and training in order to create human resources capable of accessing new production technology trends, focus on promoting training in science, technology and engineering. This will turn the demographic challenge and the golden population value into an advantage in international integration and division of labor. Hanoi High-Tech Vocational College is gradually implementing such a roadmap.
On the morning of November 14 in Hanoi, Hanoi High-Tech Vocational College (HHT) solemnly held the opening ceremony of the new school year, the school year 2022-2023 and the celebration of Vietnamese Teachers Day. Attending were Dr. Do Nang Khanh, Deputy General Director of General Department of Vocational Education and Training – Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs, representatives of Hanoi city departments, professional associations, partner enterprises, vocational college with a large number of staff, lecturers and students of the school. Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien, Vice President and General Secretary of Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA) attended and congratulated HHT teachers and students.
Although only 12 years old, HHT is a school with many achievements in vocational training. At the National Skills Competition 2021-2022, the school won 3 gold medals, 2 silver medals and 3 bronze medals. Notably, 1 software solution candidate participated in the special edition World Vocational Skills Competition in Korea.

HHT regularly maintains and develops cooperation with businesses to introduce internships and create jobs for students, not to mention large enterprises such as Hanwha Group, Foxconn, Samsung, Gamalift, etc. The cooperation of the school and businesses is now highly appreciated by both sides and tends to develop sustainably and long term.
In that trend, Hitachi Group will provide automation and transmission equipment and software, Product Lifecycle Management software license (Product Lifecycle Management, including NX, Teamcenter, Technomatix…) and other necessary contents of the 4.0 technology education and training program for HHT. At the same time, Hitachi will support training for HHT instructors to be able to access and proficiently use equipment and software in this smart laboratory. Since its establishment, Vietnam Elevator Association (VNEA) and its affiliates have worked closely with HHT to develop standard programs, develop industry codes and cooperate in training. At the end of May 2022, GamaLift and Gama Service, units under VNEA held a ceremony to summarize the training program of Elevator Technicians and Consultants. Training program organized by GamaLift and Gama Service for consultants and technicians with training participation from Vietnam Institute of Lift Engineering Application and HHT.

HHT has also actively shifted from vocational training according to available training capacity to vocational training according to the requirements of the labor market and diverse needs of society, promoting international cooperation, cooperation with enterprises, training associated with employment and product production, strengthening management, quality assurance and improving training efficiency. The goal of HHT is that 100% of students who meet the output standards have jobs and can create their own jobs.
