Elevator operator strikes had a particularly significant impact compared to those in other sectors, such as buses, taxis, or subways. These events once brought New York City in the U.S. to a standstill, resulting in losses totalling hundreds of millions in tax revenue.

EM – The spiral staircase, without a central pillar to support the weight, no glue or nails, just wooden dowels. Existing for more than 170 years, so far there has not been any explanation about the construction method, the materials that make up the staircase and even the identity of the carpenter is a mystery with no answer!
EM – Being familiar with automatic door elevators, consumers must still find it strange with manual door elevators. However, the operating mechanism of this type of door has a much longer history. And so far, how has safety technology for manual doors been applied and is there any difference compared to automatic doors?
