As society develops, the trust of customers plays an important role. Smart and responsible customers will choose businesses that do-good business and create real value for society.
Mr. Nguyen Huy Tien speaks at the signing ceremony
Trademark building and protection are two of many important and interrelated jobs in the business strategy of each business. In the context of the 4.0 era, when the market is increasingly competitive, customers are more diverse and wiser, building and protecting trademarks becomes even more urgent. Branding helps businesses create outstanding and distinctive features for their products and services, impress and create trust for customers. Brand protection helps businesses protect their legal rights against the risks of intellectual property rights, counterfeit goods, media crises and other brand problems. Especially in specific industries that need to build a reputation not only with domestic and foreign customers as the elevator industry.
However, currently, in the elevator market, there has also been a situation where some businesses take advantage of customers’ trust in some reputable brands in the market to make fake products. They have used similar names, even printed brand logos to deceive customers’ minds. Customers often make purchasing decisions but do not know they are victims of these snatching business tricks.
In addition, the origin of components, equipment and products is also a serious problem, many components and equipment do not have clear origin or have fake origin in the market. The use of quality brands carelessly for low-quality products with unclear origins can bring unpredictable consequences for customers during use. There have been incidents due to elevator technology that have serious consequences for human life.
Those unethical actions not only greatly affect the reputation of that individual enterprise, but also greatly affect other businesses in the industry. Targeting businesses that make low-quality products, use components and equipment of unclear origin, plagiarize products, counterfeit brands, etc. will create a transparent and competitive business environment, healthy competition for good businesses to develop. To get the position and trust like today is the work of many generations of leaders of the governement and businesses, so protecting the brand is especially important.
Anti-counterfeiting and trademark infringement is not only the responsibility of the authorities but also the duty of the business community and consumers. Only when we unite and act actively in protecting and respecting trademark rights can we create a healthy and sustainable business environment. It is also a way to affirm the value and quality of Vietnamese brands in the international market.
