Government management agencies and enterprise representatives visit training facilities
The Elevator Training Center is located on the campus of Hanoi High Technology College. With modern facilities, the center is divided into multiple functional areas, including theoretical classrooms and a well-equipped practical area with elevators, installation and maintenance equipment, and models for training purposes.
To ensure output quality and enable technicians to immediately perform their jobs in companies without needing retraining, the training program is structured as follows:
1. General Professional Skills: Introduction to the elevator profession, including industry overview, responsibilities, work ethics, and soft skills such as labor discipline and personal task management. These foundational skills are essential yet often lacking among fresh graduates and many current workers in Vietnam.
2. Specialized Knowledge: The core technical section of the program, designed to be concise and practical. Theoretical lessons are immediately applied through hands-on training at the center with practical models, ensuring easy comprehension and effective implementation.
3. On-the-Job Training Section (Internship at Enterprises): Trainees apply what they have learned in elevator enterprises, working under the guidance of industry experts at affiliated enterprises. This experience helps them develop practical skills and problem-solving abilities before graduation.
After completing the training program, students must pass the exam to be granted a certificate with a technician code, managed and reviewed on the VNEA system. Students are committed to an income of VND 12,000,000/month after graduation, along with stable job opportunities in VNEA’s elevator service system.
VNEA Secretary-General, Mr Nguyen Huy Tien
According to VNEA Secretary-General Nguyen Huy Tien, VNEA is developing the Elevator Safety Application (ESA), a digital system connecting users, technicians, and elevator companies. ESA will enable users to call for rescue services, maintenance, and evaluate service quality, while also helping technicians find jobs and clients nationwide. The platform will also provide continuous online learning resources, allowing technicians to enhance their skills.
