EM – “Between two products that are equal in price, function and quality, the one with the most attractive appearance wins.” – Raymond Loewy, Father of Industrial Design. What about the elevator?
Let’s admire the unique designs in the elevator design flow below, we will have the answer.
Sky-Lift – journey of light
Sky-Lift is a specially designed elevator collection. Lighting always brings a source of fresh energy and forms the main inspiration of the designer.
Advanced technology and creativity have created an experience so new that it seems to awaken the hidden emotions within each of us. The concept of space-time is conveyed under the design of MaMa Design studio.
The elevator has gone beyond its basic function to integrate as part of the architecture. When in Sky-Lift, the space will be soft, without corners and shadows. It reminds us of the iconic images of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey – “Time Travel”.
Sky-Lift breaks the limits of space, so that we can experience an imaginative journey.
Sky-Lift collection inspired by light
The cabin ceiling features a large elliptical sunroof, integrated with a nanotechnology optical system. This perfectly mimics the visual sensation of the sky and the sun. Lighting becomes the biggest highlight, it is designed to give the user a pleasant experience.
The light, based on circadian rhythms, changes with the passage of time, revealing cool tones in the morning or warm sunsets, amber in the evening…
“In Sky-Lift, the dual functional combination is enriched with a creative dimension of space-time, conveyed through natural light variations during the day. In this way, we pioneered the concept of elevator cabin design around the theme of happiness, emotion, experience and new architectural vision” – Michele Suria, CEO of IGV Group shares.

Domus Leather – “Classic positioning material”
The Domus Leather is a design inspired by high-quality leather. If you’ve ever known for high-quality leather fashion products, you’re probably no stranger to this “classic positioning material”.
But this first-class material still brings an unexpected feeling when present in the elevator cabin interior design. Each piece is meticulously and delicately processed depending on the size, combined into a mosaic work that brings a new concept of luxury.
“Leather inner finishes” is the most appropriate name for this design when the leather material is the last piece combined with gilded stainless steel, creating a perfect dream.
In this design, the DomusLift family cleverly chose gold and silver – the two most luxurious colors. And not to waste the idea of exquisite improvised paintings, besides the leather material, there is also a Liberty design created by the masters of Mosaic processing.
The combination of glossy and matte tiles meticulously cut according to size shows an innovative approach in placing mosaics.
Trends – a “curve” for elevator interiors
The Trends Elevator Collection is the result of a collaboration between KLEEMANN and Andreas Zapatinas, a world-renowned automotive and industrial designer known for designs at BMW, Alfa Romeo, Fiat and Subaru… He is the man behind the KLEEMANN Design Series, which underpins the brand’s core philosophy: design culture.
The inspiration for this set of designs comes from a moment of “Eureka!” (an ancient Greek word meaning “Found it!”): to scrutinize materials, their uses, or simply by observing life. And Trends, a range of elevator cabin creations that combine current trends and styles across three unique elevator designs: Urban, Pop and Hipster.

Urban line has lines and mainly uses the textures of urban materials such as concrete, wood, and glass. In the Hipster line, it is multi-color arrays based on a combination of classic and contemporary materials.
The motifs in the collection’s “Pop” design also make a strong impression
Pop design is inspired by pop culture and art with modern and essential components of today’s society, such as social media and emojis./.
