EM – In the 21st century, we have witnessed the birth and strong development of social networks. It’s a great platform, making the world “flatter” and delivering a lot of key value through connectivity. CSPACE is an existing space but with the same big ideas by connecting and sharing.
What is special about CSPACE?
In November 2019, architects, designers and material suppliers in Ho Chi Minh City welcomed the birth of a truly special “connected, creative space”. It’s named CSPACE.
CSPACE’s aspiration is to create a friendly environment that helps architectural designers have the most ideal conditions for creating and realizing ideas. It is also a place where suppliers of building materials and furniture can easily find suitable customers and partners.
Founder of CSPACE Nguyen Quoc Thong
With more than 9,000m2, CSPACE dedicates the central core of the building to create an open space exclusively for designers and creatives to work.
People feel like CSPACE is taken care of from the smallest things. From sitting position to lighting and workspace perspective. That makes you, whether you are a “freelancer” or a “team work”, are free to roam and create in this special space.
But the special feature that is different from many other Coworking models is that the arrangement of “satellites” is the exhibition halls of building materials and furniture “revolving around the creative core”.
Investors or designers can easily coordinate from materials to furniture, even lighting solutions to realize their creative ideas.
The showrooms of sample materials and furniture are always ready to “connect” according to the idea by designer right at CSPACE
But perhaps the most impressive point at CSPACE is the “art of light” show with the showrooms of Cara Lighting.
25 years in the profession, Cara Lighting understands the needs of the market, so it has a lot of experience to “blow the soul” of spaces with lighting solutions.
That comes from imported European quality equipment, which under the “magic eye” of the “light witch” has transformed into a light source compatible with each space, each time where they are present.
Hundreds of lamp models with unique and artistic designs are displayed as if leading visitors into the maze of light.
But Cara Lighting does not simply sell equipment but provides “personalized lighting” solutions. Like a form of “make-up”, increasing the attractiveness, charisma, and sensuality of the surrounding space.
This helps Cara Lighting’s customers optimize the choice of lighting solutions in their space with different purposes.
Choosing the right lighting solution is essential for each space
In the space of CSPACE, the conference hall with modern equipment, accommodating up to hundreds of people at the same time is also an important connection point.
Many seminars on many fields such as architecture, building materials, furniture, fashion… are held regularly.
CSPACE has helped businesses reduce costs dozens of times for events of similar size. Meanwhile, the efficiency increased significantly.
What does CSPACE mean?
First of all, the letter “C” is explained by the founder of CSPACE, which is Connect. Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thong hopes his “favorited child” will create valuable connections for businesses and the design and creative community. If America is famous for having Silicon Valley, why can’t Vietnam have similar “valleys”? This is the place to gather and attract talents in the fields of architecture, design and creativity. A place to create a library of materials, high-class furniture for investors and designers to have the most optimal choices. Where designers or hardware suppliers can find their potential partners.
The letter “C” also stands for the word “Share” in the Vietnamese sense. Because CSPACE’s mission is to create an ecosystem for partners to share customer files.
It is difficult for one material supplier to provide all the materials that a partner needs. But if they cooperate with each other, the quantity and type of materials supplied has become a “small matter”.
CSPACE has also been attracting famous building materials companies in the world. Domestic consumers will also have the opportunity to use the latest and most advanced materials. On the other hand, we also have many opportunities to promote our services of architecture, design, materials and furniture to the world right at CSPACE.
CSPACE founder Nguyen Quoc Thong shared openly. When he talked to the architects, he learned that the time they spend on design is only 25%. Meanwhile, having to “run back and forth” to find viable materials consumes a lot of time, making it difficult for designers.
In addition, in surrounding countries such as Singapore and Thailand, architects and designers have large-scale material libraries (such as Thai Creative Design Center, invested 65 million USD after the financial crisis in Asia-Pacific in 1997). Thanks to that, their creative industry has made great strides in a short time. This is what Vietnamese architects and designers are still yearning for.
These things motivated CSPACE founder Nguyen Quoc Thong to be determined to create a new space with values of dedication to the community rather than business purposes.
What about the elevator industry?
What if the elevator business community also has a space like CSPACE to connect and share?
In that “trading floor”, we have the presence of elevator manufacturers and supporting industries. What if there is space for architects, interior designers and investors?
To quote Professor Michael Porter when he came to Vietnam: “A new value will come to global business along with meeting the needs of society and people. I believe sharing social responsibility is the most important opportunity in business for the next 20 years.”
Great ideas to connect and share will bring great values .
Just like how CSPACE did./
